A bigger reality

So we hear what we already know
the earth is fucked
the ipcc report says this is so
and it was us, the humans let it go
It sucks does it not?

While each of us responds
in rage or fear or simple toss of head
another thing we know
is nothing matters when we’re dead
And that was also ever so.
